February 25th, 2023 Britten War Requiem presented by the Los Angeles Philharmonic

With the National Children’s Chorus at Walt Disney Concert Hall, in collaboration with the American Youth Symphony. Abigail had a moving performance of Benjamin Britten’s collosal War Requiem. Led by Maestros Carlos Izcaray and Luke McEndarfer.

As apart of the highest level, Scholars, of the National Children's Chorus Abigail sang an ambitious program promoting peace, featuring Benjamin Britten's colossal and deeply moving War Requiem. This work, completed in 1962, is considered to be one of the most significant pieces ever written for chorus, soloists and orchestra, as it depicts the haunting atrocities of warfare in the hopes of signifying the importance of global unity. This was a stunning experience in one of the world’s architecturally wondrous and sonically brilliant concert halls.

2021-2022 Performances


April 9th, 2021 National Cherry Blossom Festival "Celebration Show"

Featured on the Drew Barrymore Show. A special music video with select senior division singers of the National Children’s Chorus, Kyoto Children’s Chorus, and the Tokyo International Children’s Choir in Japan. Live on WJLA-TV. Also featured appearances by Kristi Yamaguchi, Michelle Marsh, Amy Grant, LeAnn Rimes, CeCe Winans, Norm Lewis, Lindsey Stirling, and others.

February 16th, 2021 Eric Whitacre’s Goodnight Moon

Abigail took part in the world premier of the SSA/TREBLE arrangement of “Goodnight Moon” by the National Children’s Chorus in the United States. Abigail performed works by Edward Elgar, Eriks Esenvalds, Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo, Samuel Barber and Sharon Farber will grace the stage for an unforgettable experience. Honoring visionary men and women who have shaped humanity throughout history, this stellar program will celebrate innovation and ingenuity, including a special tribute commemorating NASA’s 60th Anniversary.

March 31, 2019 - Los Angeles, CA - National Children’s Chorus’ premiere performance of Mahler’s 8th Symphony with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Disney Hall

Selected to perform Mahler: Symphony No. 8 “Symphony of A Thousand” at Walt Disney Concert Hall with the National Children’s Chorus, Los Angeles Master Chorale, Pacific Chorale, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Gustavo Du Damel. This Performance won “Best Choral Performance” and “Best Engineered Album” in the Classical Category at the 64th Grammy Awards in 2022.

2017-2018 Performances

April 5th, 2017 Nella Fantasia
